Born in Essex in 1941, Brian was one of two children born to Ethel and Percival Evans, two hard working characters who struggled to bring him up given the difficult and poor circumstances brought about by the last World War.Brian attended St Edwards Private Church of England Secondary School where he was considered to be an exceptional student (everyone took exception to him), if occasionally a disruptive force amongst his fellow classmates. After leaving school, Brian decided to become an apprentice engineer and subsequently Personnel Manager in a number of engineering companies. He finally joined the prestigious Industrial Society becoming Head of Industrial Relations, where his skills were much in demand. He headed a team of six employee relations advisers helping many organisations with their industrial relations problems. In 1971 he left the Industrial Society and formed his own company - Industrial Relations and Personal Services Ltd. Brian rapidly became a highly regarded and much sought after Management Consultant in his new role, at one time leading a team of twenty one consultants. His company went from success to success right up to his retirement in 2000. He continues his advisory work with organisations on a pro bono basisBrian and his lovely wife Fay have been married for over 40 years and have three daughters and a son, greatly loved and all inherited from previous marriages. Brian and Fay now divide their time between a delightful converted coach house in Berkshire and an apartment in the Algarve, Portugal.
